Description

No. 5 Church Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of finely jointed coursed, squared ironstone and features a thatched roof. The building has renewed brick end stacks set on stone bases and a three-unit plan. It stands two storeys tall and has a three-window range. There are two entrances, both with renewed plank doors and painted wood lintels. The entrance on the left is flanked by 20th-century sash windows with arched stone heads, and there are three similar windows on the first floor. The windows have glazing bars throughout. The interior has not been inspected.
