Description

No. 2 Ace Lane is a house built in the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It features coursed squared ironstone and has a plain-tile roof with brick stacks at each end. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, displaying a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door with panelled reveals, surrounded by a reeded wood frame and topped with a straight hood supported by brackets. The ground and first floors have two-light casement windows with wooden lintels. The gables are finished with stone copes. Inside, the property includes diamond-stop-chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
