Description

Bugbrooke Chapel is a Nonconformist chapel built in 1808 and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from ironstone ashlar and features a hipped concrete tile roof. The chapel has a single cell plan with a central 9-pane window that has a segmental-arched head, flanked by two 6-panel doors, each with a fanlight and segmental-arched heads. There are two additional 9-pane windows on the first floor, which also have similar segmental-arched heads. The building includes a plinth, a storey band, and a datestone located at the center of the first floor. To the right, there is a late 19th or 20th-century extension. Inside, the chapel features a west gallery supported by timber Doric columns, with a panelled front to the gallery.
