Description

This is a gateway located approximately 5 meters south-southeast of Number 17 on Church Street in Kidlington. It dates from the mid-18th century and features a later graffiti date of 1786. The structure is made of limestone ashlar and includes a segmental pediment above a keyed segmental-arched doorway, which has blocked pilasters. The gateway is adorned with a wrought-iron gate that showcases fine scrolled ironwork at the top.
