Granary/Stables And Barn And Shelter Shed Approximately 15 Metres North Of Hill Farmhouse

The granary, stables, barn, and shelter shed located approximately 15 meters north of Hill Farmhouse date back to the 18th century. The granary and stables are constructed from squared, coursed ironstone and feature a steeply pitched corrugated asbestos roof. The structure has three bays, with exterior stone steps leading to the loft, a plank door, and a stable door. There is also a window with an arched stone lintel on the left side.

The barn is made of squared coursed ironstone rubble and has a similarly steeply pitched corrugated asbestos roof. It features stone-coped gables with moulded kneelers, a gabled porch, and an outshot to the left of the porch. The gable of the porch is weatherboarded, and the barn has wide plank doors with wood lintels, cratch boards, and housing at the bottom of the doors. Inside, there is a 4-bay principal rafter roof supported by purlins, collars, and a midstrey.

Attached to the barn are single-storey shelter sheds with corrugated asbestos roofs. These consist of a long single-storey range with weatherboarded and open sections, along with additional plank doors.
