Description
This is a barn, attached shelter sheds, and a granary located approximately 25 meters northeast of Hall Meadow Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. The barn is constructed from coursed squared blocks of ironstone and features a corrugated iron roof with ironstone quoins. It has four bays, with the threshing floor located in the second bay from the right. The roof is supported by a trenched purlin structure with crossed and pegged principals.
The shelter sheds are made of regular coursed ironstone rubble and also have ironstone quoins, with hipped corrugated iron roofs. The bays are divided by posts set on stone plinths. The granary, which also serves as a cartshed, has regular coursed ironstone rubble for its ends and rear, with an upper floor made of brick and corrugated iron. It features a steeply pitched corrugated iron roof and is divided into five bays by posts on stone plinths. The right end of the granary has a plank door to the left, framed with moulded wood and topped with a wood lintel. To the right of the door is a two-light unglazed wood-mullioned window with a wood lintel. These buildings form two sides of the farmyard and are included for their group value.
