Description
The granary and attached shelter shed at Hill Farm, located 40 meters to the south-southeast of the house, dates from the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is dark weatherboarded, topped with red pantile roofs, and has a half-hipped roof on the granary. The rectangular, single-storey granary is raised on red brick supports and faces north, with steps leading up to a central boarded door. There is a small window positioned high on the right side. Inside, the granary is plastered and ceiled, containing corn bins. The roof is a clasped purlin design with two unequal bays. To the south, there is a lower shelter shed that has a five-bay open front. The front posts and straight braces of the shelter shed display a carpenter's numbering sequence.
