Description
The granary and shelter shed, located approximately 30 metres north of Redlands Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with jowled posts, brick infill, and some weatherboarding, along with some alterations in brick. The roofs are covered with old tiles.
The granary is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with the ground floor underbuilt in brick. The left side is weatherboarded and has a plank door on the upper floor, accessed by an external masonry staircase. Inside, there is a trenched purlin roof.
The shelter shed has five bays supported by 19th-century brick pillars. One bay is enclosed with 19th-century brick, while the remaining bays are open. It has a queen strut roof and forms a group with Redlands Farmhouse.
