Description

Church Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse, dated 1617, with alterations and extensions from the 19th century. It is constructed of squared, coursed ironstone with an old tile roof, stone ridge, and end stacks. The house has a 4-unit plan and a 5-window front. A 20th-century part-glazed door is located centrally, within a 20th-century wood porch. The ground floor has four 3-light casement windows with wooden lintels. The first floor has four smaller 3-light casement windows, also with wooden lintels. A 2-light casement with a wooden lintel sits above the door. Attached to the right is a single-storey, plus attic, outbuilding range. The interior features one chamfered spine beam. The property is included on the list for group value.
