LONDON ROAD 1746 No 72 TQ 5839 SW 2/50 20.5.52 TQ 5839 NW 3/50 II* GV 2. An elegant early C19 villa. 3 storeys and semi-basement with area fronted with painted wood grooved in imitation of masonry. Hipped slate roof. Eaves cornice. 3 sashes with glazing bars mostly intact. Wooden balcony with hood and trellised canopy on 1st floor. Beneath the balcony is a porch with fluted columns approached by six steps with handrail. Segmental fanlight but modern door. Nos 69 to 73 (consec) form a group.
