Description
The Former Weaver's Restaurant is a 16th-century L-shaped timber-framed hall house that has undergone significant restoration. The ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick and underbuilt, while the timber frame is exposed above with plaster infilling. The front features mostly thin framing. The building has a tiled roof with a catslide at the back and a restored red brick chimney stack with four diagonally placed diamond-shaped ridge shafts. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a four-window front, including gables and bays that contain attic windows. There are two modern gabled dormers situated between the gables, as well as modern casements and a modern gabled weather porch to the right. At the rear, there is a small west wing and a modern extension beyond.
