Holden Cottage is a late 18th or early 19th century farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers and has a tiled roof with a modillion eaves cornice. The house is two storeys high with an attic space, featuring two gabled dormers. It has three sash windows, retaining their original glazing bars. An off-centre doorway is framed by a pilaster surround topped with a pediment. The door itself consists of six moulded and fielded panels, with a fanlight above.
