Description

The Old Farmhouse is a 16th-century L-shaped timber-framed house that has been restored, with the ground floor rebuilt in red brick and mostly underbuilt. The north side of the west wing still shows the overhang of its first floor on the protruding ends of the tie floor joists. The first floor is tile-hung at the front, while the timber framing is exposed at the back. The house has a hipped tiled roof featuring two gabled dormers. There are three casement windows, some of which are located at the back of the house and have small square leaded panes. The gable is situated on the north side.
