Description

The George Hotel dates to circa 1830. It is a three-storey building constructed of painted brick and features an eaves cornice and stringcourses above the ground and first floors. The original facade contains three sash windows with intact glazing bars. The central window bay projects and is curved. A two-storey, single-window addition lies to the north. The hotel is one of a group of properties, numbers 29 to 37 (odd).
