Description

No. 42 Mount Ephraim is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall and is finished in stucco, with brick on the side elevation. It features parapet stringcourses and has one sash window set in a moulded architrave, along with a three-light sash window. An interesting aspect of the building is the late 19th-century projecting shop front, which includes four round-headed arches that incorporate a doorcase supported by slender pilasters. Nos. 38 to 42 Mount Ephraim form a group.
