Description
No 24 Mount Ephraim Road is a large early 19th century house, standing three storeys high with a semi-basement, and finished in stucco. It features an eaves cornice and has four windows on the south side, along with one window and one blocked window space on the west side. The iron balcony that was on the first floor has recently been removed. On the first floor, there are three large curved windows, each with three lights, and two windows on the ground floor. The ground floor windows are topped with heavy hoods that cover the upper half, although the hoods on the first floor windows have been taken down. The entrance has a doorcase with a curved flight of steps leading up to it, along with an iron railing in front of the platform. The door features a rectangular fanlight and a five-panel moulded door. There is also a porch on the west front supported by fluted columns, which includes a 19th century shop front. Nos 18 to 24 Mount Ephraim Road form a group.
