Description

No. 40 Mount Ephraim is a building from the mid to late 19th century, located on the northwest side of Mount Ephraim. It is three storeys high and has a pebbledashed exterior with a slate roof. The building features a prominent three-light bay that extends through all floors. The shop front projects and includes four round-headed arches supported by pilasters. There is a round-headed arch set back that leads to the shop, and a similar arch to the right that leads to the house. Nos. 38 to 42 (even) form a group with this building.
