Description

No. 42 is a house with forge buildings to the right, dating from the 18th century. The ground floor is made of lime-washed brick with a plinth, while the first floor is weatherboarded. It has a plain tiled roof featuring an end stack to the right and a projecting chimney breast. The building is two storeys high with a two-window front, which contains casements. The central entrance is a half-glazed door with engraved pub glass and is sheltered by a flat projecting hood. Adjoining to the right is a one-storey forge building that is also weatherboarded.
