Description
Vine House is a house and former forge dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a tile roof, with a gable end external stack. It stands two storeys tall and has a stepped brick cornice. To the left is a single storey forge. The house has two windows, both of which are 3-light casements. The ground floor windows are also 3-light casements, set under plastered cambered heads. The central entrance features a pilastered wooden doorcase with a triangular canopy and a four-panel door. The forge has a 6-pane window to the left, while the entrance to the right is framed by a wooden architrave and has a ledged and boarded door.
