Description

Godfreys is a cottage that was formerly a farmhouse, dating from the 16th century. It features a random rubble plinth that has been raised with several courses of red brick above, which conceals the timber frame. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, with a ridge stack located off-centre to the left and an end stack to the right. The building has one and a half storeys and a three-window front, with casement windows in openings on the ground floor that have segment heads. To the left of the right-hand west window, there is a half-glazed door. At the rear, there is a half-hipped wing and catslide extensions.
