Description
Ryarsh Place is a house. An earlier building was refronted in 1732, and subsequently altered internally during the later 18th century. The front is rendered over a red brick base, with a prominent eaved cornice and a parapet. The hipped roof is covered with plain tiles and has end stacks, along with two flat-headed dormers. The house is two storeys and has attics, featuring a regular five-window front. The windows are glazing bar sashes, set in reeded surrounds with open boxes and internal shutters. Above are glazing bar sashes, while below are French casements. The central door is half-glazed, with a margin-light pair of overlights, sheltered by a trellis porch with a shallow pyramidal roof. Extensions extend to the rear. Inside, a half oval staircase is situated in a central oval wall. A metal balustrade is present, along with a curved door on the ground floor.
