Description

No. 32, High Street is a house with a shop on the ground floor, dating from the late 18th century but with an earlier 18th-century core. The front is of colourwashed brick, though the interior retains timber framing. It has a tiled roof. The building was originally planned with two rooms over two storeys. The ground floor features a carriage entrance on the left-hand side, with partially glazed doors, and a 20th-century shop front on the right-hand side. The first floor has two sash windows without glazing bars, flanked by a blind window. A dentil cornice runs along the eaves. A rendered brick stack is visible on the right-hand gable.
