Description

The Butcher's Shop is a cottage that has also served as a shop. It features a timber-framed structure, with some exposed timber on the ground floor to the left, while the rest of the ground floor is made of painted brick. The first floor is tile-hung. The roof is plain tiled and half-hipped to the north, with a stack at the south end and a catslide extension to the right and at the rear. The building has two storeys and includes two casement windows. To the right, there is a long casement shop front under a pentice-hood, which also covers two central boarded doors that extend into the catslide extension.
