Description
This building is a row of cottages, known as Angel Cottage and three others to the right, dating from the late 17th century. The cottages are timber-framed, featuring a red brick ground floor and weatherboarded first floor, except for Angel Cottage on the left, which has a 19th-century brick front. The roof is plain tiled and half-hipped, with two ridge stacks and three flat-headed dormers. The row has one storey and attics, with a total of four windows; the right side has casement windows, while the left side features glazing bar sashes. There are four doors located at the ends and in the center, with the rightmost doors being boarded. Small pentice weather-hoods are present over the central doors.
