Description

Ivy Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 16th century, with 19th-century elevations. It features a timber-framed structure with a red brick ground floor and a painted weatherboarded first floor. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the right, and has a central coupled brick stack. At the rear, there is a catslide extension that is interrupted by a gabled staircase projection. The cottage is two storeys high, with four windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor, all of which are casements. The ground-floor windows have segment heads. There is a painted weatherboarded catslide addition on the right and a one-storey projection on the left that has a 20th-century glazed door.
