Description
The White House is a house that dates back to the 16th century, featuring a framed structure with elevations from the 18th century. It is weatherboarded and has a continuous first-floor jetty supported by timber brackets, with a moulded boarded fascia and a plastered soffit. The roof is plain tiled and hipped to the right, with a large 20th-century gabled dormer in the center and a smaller one to the left. There is an off-centre ridge stack to the left. The house has an L-shaped plan with a projecting wing at the rear and consists of two storeys and attics. The front has three windows, with 19th-century wooden casements; the central window on the first floor has shallow flanking lights. The entrance is located left of center and features a panelled door and a weatherboarded porch.
