Description

The Oast House is a mid-19th century oast house and granary, now converted into two dwellings. It is constructed of random rubble stone with brick quoins and window dressings. The first floor centre section is weatherboarded and creosoted between the left-hand return gable and the pair of roundels to the right. The roof is covered in plain tiles, with a ridge stack positioned to the right of the gable. The roundels also have plain tiles and feature cowls and a wind vane. The building is two storeys high, with three windows on each floor of the central range. To the right, under the return gable, is one window on each floor, and one window between the ground and first floors to the left. A 20th-century vertically-panelled door is located on the north side, sheltered by a flat, projecting hood.
