Description
Miller's Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse that incorporates a fragment of a 16th-century house. It features red brick elevations and a plain tiled roof that is hipped at both ends, with a projecting catslide-roofed wing at the rear. The building has two storeys and a three-window front, with glazing bar sashes; the central ground-floor window blocks a former doorway. Inside, the drawing room includes a fireplace with a chamfered bressumer and two saltholes. The bathroom has a blue and white figurative painting on a plaster infill panel, depicting two lion-headed creatures, two nude male figures, and birds. The roof contains a crownpost but has been significantly rebuilt.
