Description

The Red House is a house dating from the 17th century, with later elevations and additions. It features a timber-framed structure with a red brick ground floor and a tile-hung first floor. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, and there is a stack at the south end. The building has an L-shaped plan with a projecting wing to the right. It is two storeys high, with two windows facing east and one window facing south. There is a central boarded door facing east, which is sheltered by a sloping tiled hood. Additionally, there is a brick extension to the south.
