Description

The George Inn is a building that likely started as a hall-house in the 16th century and has been adapted into a public house. The ground floor is made of painted brick, while the first floor features fish-scale tile hanging. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, including gablets, a ridge stack on the right, and catslide extensions on the left, right, and at the rear. The building has two storeys and a three-window front with wooden casements. There are three 20th-century half-glazed doors located at the extreme right and left, as well as one off-centre to the left.
