Description

Great Reeds is a cottage dating from the 18th century, which incorporates remains of a 16th-century cottage. The building features a random rubble stone plinth with walls of limewashed brick on the left and random galletted rubble on the right at ground level, while the first floor is rendered. The right-hand end has exposed framing on the first floor. The roof is plain tiled, half-hipped to the left, with a part catslide extension at the rear. The cottage is two storeys high and has an irregular four-window front, with the ground floor windows on the left having segment-headed surrounds. There is a central 20th-century boarded door with a flat projecting hood.
