Description

This is a mid-18th century house, altered in the mid-19th century, and now used as a shop. The front is rendered and has a plain tiled roof. It is three storeys high, with a horizontally rusticated ground floor and a moulded modillion eaves cornice extending to the hipped roof, which has a stack on the right side. The second floor has two sash windows and a central blank window space. The first floor has three three-leafed sash windows with bowed iron balconies featuring a palmette pattern. A large picture window is on the ground floor, with a plate glass door to the right. The left side of the ground floor has a door consisting of six raised and fielded panels, topped with a semi-circular fanlight, set within a fluted Doric pilastered doorcase with an open pediment on an entablature. There are three moulded steps with simple railings leading up to the door.
