Description

This is a mid-18th century house, later used as a shop. It has been altered in the mid-19th century and again in the mid-20th century. The house is constructed of brick with a tile roof, and has gable end stacks. It is three storeys high, with an attic space lit by a gabled dormer. There is a modillioned cornice to a rendered parapet, and a lead drain pipe to the right-hand corner, featuring a moulded rainwater head. It has two windows. The windows are glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads and keystones. The second floor windows are nine-pane sashes under similar heads. The ground floor has a pilastered shop front with scroll brackets to a blind box, a large plate glass window to the right with a three-pane overlight, and a recessed entrance with a glazed door and ventilator above.
