Description
Delce Cottages and The Old Post Office is a row of cottages built in the mid-18th century. The structure is made of painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high with boxed eaves on a hipped roof, which has stacks positioned to the left, in front of the ridge, and at the centre left and centre right, as well as an end stack on the right.
On the first floor, there are four glazing bar sash windows and a small wooden casement window to the right. The ground floor has four segmental-headed glazing bar sashes, with the leftmost windows designed to slide horizontally, along with two wooden casement windows at the end left, which are later additions. The front of the building features three half-glazed and panelled doors, each with flat hoods. The road-facing side has two glazing bar sashes on each floor and a central panelled door with an extension to the left.
