Description

Thatch Cottage is a 17th-century house located on the south side of Monkton Street, Monkton. The house is rendered and has a thatched roof. It is a single storey with a garret. The roof is half-hipped, with a central chimney stack. The front has two wooden casement windows to the left, and a boarded door with a flat hood above it. To the right is a gabled porch. On the return front (facing the road), there is a wooden casement window with shutters on each floor.
