Description

The Old Pound Cottage is a 17th-century house located on the south-west side of Wellington Street. The lower portion of the house is rendered, while the upper portion is timber-framed with rendered infill. It has a thatched, half-hipped roof, with a brick ridge stack. The building is two storeys high and comprises a two-bay range set at right angles to the street. A 20th-century porch with a plank door is situated on the left return. The windows are casements, arranged irregularly. The interior has not been inspected.
