Description
No. 30 Upper High Street is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick featuring flared headers in Flemish bond, topped with a slate roof. The building is two stories high and has a four-window range. To the left of the center, there is a four-panel door with a fanlight and a round-arched surround. To the right of the center, there is a 20th-century sash door with a fanlight. The left and center windows are 12-pane horned sashes with rendered flat heads that have keystones, while the right window is a 20-pane window with a rendered flat head and keystone. On the first floor, there are 16-pane unhorned sashes, except for a 12-pane unhorned sash to the left of center. A cross-gable to the right features a recessed panel and shaped bargeboards. The right return of the building is made of uncoursed stone rubble with brick dressings. The interior has not been inspected.
