Description
Raffety Buckland is a townhouse, now used as offices, dating from the mid-18th century, with likely alterations from the late 19th century. The building features lined render, probably over brick, and has an old plain-tile roof with a brick end stack on the left. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight and a pilastered surround that supports a cornice. To the left, there is a tripartite unhorned sash window with glazing bars and an architrave surround. To the right, a 16-pane window also has an architrave surround. On the first floor, there are 12-pane unhorned sashes in the centre and to the right, both with architrave surrounds. The left side features a late 19th-century angled oriel bay window with wood mullions and transom windows that have leaded lights. The eaves are adorned with a dentil cornice. There are two 20th-century flat-roofed dormers with 6-pane horned sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
