Description

No. 126 on Monkton Road is an early 19th-century house. It is constructed of brown brick with flint on the return and rear elevations, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has three storeys and features a parapet with kneelered gables and chimney stacks on both sides. The front has a regular arrangement of three glazing bar sash windows with gauged heads, while the central window space above is a blank panel. The central entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels, with the top two panels being glazed, and is adorned with a semi-circular fanlight and a gauged surround on imposts.
