Description

Field House is a house dating from around 1800. It is constructed of painted brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high, with a central window bay that projects and a parapet on the hipped roof, which has stacks on both the left and right sides. The windows are regularly arranged, featuring three glazing bar sashes on the first floor with painted heads and two on the ground floor. The central entrance door consists of six moulded panels and includes a semi-circular fanlight set in a double rebated surround. This entrance is accessed by a flight of four steps and has wreathed iron handrails. There is also a canted bay on a high base located on the left return of the house.
