Description
The Vicarage is an early 19th-century house located on Monkton Street, Monkton. It is constructed of brown brick with a plain tiled roof. The house is two storeys and has an attic, topped with a brick cornice to the parapet. It has a gambrel roof with two hipped dormers, and a stack projecting at the end on the left. The windows are regularly spaced; three glazing bar sashes with gauged heads are on the first floor, and two on the ground floor. A central gabled porch features a blank panel and a boarded door on the left side. A single-storey extension protrudes to the left, incorporating garage doors. A segmental-headed recess is present with a boarded door and a rectangular fanlight.
