Description

The Cottage, located to the north of the Post Office, is a late 18th-century brick cottage with a pantile roof. It features brick coped gables with kneelers and has two gable stacks. There is a brick band at the first floor and dentilated eaves. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway is framed by a 20th-century wooden pedimented surround and door. To the right of the doorway is a single glazing bar sash window, while to the left is a 20th-century glazing bar casement window. Above the doorway, there is a central sliding sash window, with a similar sash window to the right and a 20th-century two-light casement window to the left, all of which rise to the eaves.
