Description

Jasmine Cottage is an early 19th-century brick cottage located on the east side of High Street in Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe. The building features dark stretchers and pale headers, topped with a pantile roof that has a single gable stack and decorated eaves. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with an overlight, accompanied by a 20th-century lean-to porch supported on thin iron posts. On either side of the door are single glazing sashes, with three similar sashes above, all featuring segment heads. The cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
