Description

Thimble Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the mid-18th century. They feature a rendered plinth with brown brick above, and the ground floor on the left is whitewashed. The cottages have a plain tiled roof with a central stack at the rear. They are two storeys high and have a plat band above the ground floor. The first floor has four casement windows, with two on the left that have glazing bars and two on the right that feature diamond pattern leading. The ground floor windows are set under cambered heads. To the left of centre is a 20th-century stable style door with studding, also under a cambered head (this is No. 64 Thimble Cottage). To the right of centre is a board door with studded ribs and part glazing (this is No. 62).
