Description

Bankside is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It features a stone basement and red brick walls topped with a plain tiled roof, which has brick dentil eaves and stacks on both the left and right sides. The building has two storeys above the basement, with three casement windows on the first floor and two cambered head windows on the ground floor and basement. A central six-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, is accessed by a flight of six steps and is sheltered by a moulded, open-gable porch hood supported by brackets. To the right, there is a one-bay weather-board extension that includes one casement window on the first floor above a partially glazed door.
