Description

This barn, located about 10 metres north of Bolingbroke, dates from the 18th century or earlier. It has a timber frame that is clad with red brick and weatherboard, topped with a roof that features plain tiles and thatch. The roof is half-hipped, with a hipped midstrey to the left, and there are four garage doors across the front. The interior is obscured by later partitions, but it includes passing shores or quadrant braces to the arcade posts, although the roof is not visible. A late 20th-century extension to the left is of no special interest. The barn is included in the listing for its group value only.
