Description

Wychways is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with tile hanging on the left return and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, set on a plinth with an off-set plat band. The right return has a shaped and stepped gable, with iron wall-ties marked T.R. There is a hipped dormer and a stack on the right side. The windows are of 20th-century design, including a central two-storey triangular bay and diamond lattice wooden casements on the left and right. To the right, there is a projecting single-storey wing with a kneelered gable that is interrupted by the main range, which has a hip on the right side. This wing contains two wooden casements, and the entry is located in the rear ranges.
