Description

Welches is a house dating from the early 18th century, featuring an earlier rear wing. It is constructed of red brick and has a red plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. Notable architectural details include a dentilled eaves cornice, a central band, and a skylight in the attic. The front has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes set under segmental arches, with tie plates between the windows. The gutter is supported by ornate metal brackets. The central entrance features a panelled door, fluted surround, a patera on the frieze, and a flat canopy above.
