Description
Church House is a house dating from the 18th century or earlier, constructed of red brick. It features a double range roof covered with red plain tiles and has a large red brick chimney stack at the rear. The building is two storeys high, with attics and cellars, and includes rear ranges. Notable architectural details include a dentilled eaves cornice and a single flat-headed dormer. The front has a three-window range of small-paned vertically sliding sash windows, with gauged arches above the ground floor windows. There are also two basement lights with grills. Access is via a stepped approach with iron railings and moulded balusters leading to a four-panel, two-light door that has reveal panels, a moulded surround, a frieze, and a pediment.
