Description
This outbuilding, located at the rear of Number 42 High Street and facing Stour Street, dates back to the 15th century or earlier. It was originally a dwelling and features a timber frame with plaster, topped by a red plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high, with a jettied and gabled facade facing Stour Street, supported by four curved brackets. On the first floor, there is a small paned two-light casement window. The left side of the building has a door leading to the first floor, a ground floor window, and a boarded door. It is noted that the outbuilding is said to retain its original roof construction.
